FreeQMS New Features and Updates Week of July 20, 2020

Improved AUDIT Activity functionality is now live! Evidences and Verification available for Audit Activity!

New Features

·  CAPA will now prompt to check for protected files before deleting anything.

·  Verification evidence added to Audit Activities in a similar manner to CAPA. Evidences also added to the Audit Activities Export – replaces the former resolution claim.

Updates

·  Audit activity page titles changed to better match CAPA activity titles for site consistency.

·  Audits form names updated to better represent the CAPA activity items – internal help text now found inside the form.

·  Error Handler implemented for crashes that may occur in rare circumstances when updating contacts lists in the Audits module.

·  Fixed several bugs that caused issues in the Users module under varying circumstances.

·  Fixed an error when registering new users that wouldn’t properly set their default division.

·  Fixed an Admin error caused by certain fields not being displayed properly.

·  SupplierContact now updates in sync with changes to a user on a company level – which gives the SupplierContact first and last name as data, instead of an email.

·  Verification has been removed from CAPA Activity main page

·  Fixed an error that allowed users to occasionally finalize a file upload without the file actually uploading, causing issues later when trying to actually retrieve said document.
